Weaving an Iconic Beauty Brand With The World's Most Iconic City

“What’s beauty worth?” –  L’Oréal’s signature phrase. Havas Luxe and Havas Events Paris was tasked with orchestrating an Iconic Event for an Iconic Brand in an Iconic City with Iconic Talent. The key thematic elements keyed-in on the energy and talent of New York City resulting in an unforgettable evening for L’Oréal’s brand to over 900 international C-Level executives at the 2015 Global Consumer Goods Forum.

Pier 60 was the dramatic backdrop for the event. The pinnacle of the evening – A surprise appearance by Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin. Prior – A jazzy, Cotton Club themed cocktail hour, beckoned back to the heyday of the1920’s Harlem Renaissance; A soulful gospel choir greeted guests as they made their entrances on the red carpet; An all-star cast of broadway stars sang “New York, New York”as guests sang along; Culminating in an explosive custom fireworks display that lit up the night sky above the Hudson River with the stunning New York City Skyline behind.

Havas Luxe successfully created a memorable gala for the closing dinner of the Global Consumer Goods Forum in New York – Seamlessly weaving the world’s most iconic beauty brand, with the most iconic city in the world.
